Just about 2 months ago my Sussex County NJ real estate business exploded and I've been juggling non-stop. For example, with homes for sale in Franklin NJ and in Highland Lakes NJ, I had offers within two weeks of listing them. Both have absentee owners, so I'm going the extra mile to ensure the transactions close smoothly. Both are rapid closings.
My hubby Chip Mandell (a licensed real estate agent who does NOT handle residential) has been pinch hitting. Chip has been awaiting town inspectors, meeting well testers, installing smoke detectors, etc. A specialist in land sales, Chip helped me prep for a recent listing appointment; I requested that he accompany me. The owner was most impressed with our complimentary expertise. Too, Chip toured the farm taking outside pictures while I covered the residence.
Chip has been stuck cooking 90% 99% of our meals - and he is great at it. He suffers through my periods of stress and exhaustion. Knows when to chat or when to just let me chill a bit.
This upsurge has caused me to neglect my blogging AND my wonderfully supportive life partner. I'll get back on track very soon but clearly know which is a higher priority.
Thanks, Chip, for all your Sussex County real estate help - but much more importantly - your unconditional love and support.

Irene, you are a very lucky woman! It means a lot to have a sweetie who gets what we do for a living!
Lucky woman indeed Irene! Chip sounds like a gem! I love it when spouses help out out of the sheer goodness of their hearts.
OH, and I forgot to mention....I am so very glad also that you business "exploded" that's always a spectacular thing!
Irene, What a nice tribute to your husband. I'm thrilled to hear about your business and glad you've got the support you need through it.
Pat - I AM the luckiest! A sweetie who isn't loving and supportive isn't worth the time of day - in my humble opinion...
Kristin - On many levels, I'm counting my blessings right now!
Carole - The business uptick is welcome after a slower period. While I could've hired someone to do some of the tasks, it wouldn't give me the same peace of mind that Chip does. And Chip's price is right!
Irene - Chip doesn't seem to be sweating it based on the pic. Man + fire = good job ...Add a cool beverage and life is is good:) Smiles back at ya
Glad to see you busy! And you are lucky to have the "Chipster" in the bullpen when you need hm!
Happy to see you blogging. Of course your business exploded, you are at the helm. A land man and residential girl...match made in heaven!
Claude - I try to return to favors to my favorite teammate!
Gary - The increased activity is most welcome - as is my helper.
Kathleen - Thanks for your vote of confidence! Chip and I do compliment each other - on many levels.
Irene - I completely understand that situation being a team ourselves... Lisa and I both share cooking chores and real estate at the same time... Increased activity is a good thing in this day and age and I welcome it after last winters doldrums... Best of luck and keep your chin up. I know we are...
Bob,
If only I could recruit Chip full time! You and Lisa are lucky to have an equally good partnership.
Here's hoping our Rainmaking continues too!
Awwww nice dedication to Chip! Every one of us needs a good "Chip" in our lives!
