Although all the homes for sale in Sussex County NJ are fairly close to one of our 21 golf courses, many people immediately focus on the 7 Crystal Springs golf courses: Wild Turkey, Minerals, Great Gorge, Crystal Springs, Cascades, Black Bear and Ballyowen.

Although many of 21 courses are open to the public, some, such as Lake Mohawk Golf Club, are private. For those who plan to live year round in Sparta, membership at Lake Mohawk Golf Club might be of interest. Others who may want vacation homes in Sussex County will be happy to learn that all the Crystal Springs golf courses don't require a membership.
Your options for real estate in Crystal Springs are vast and we can chat about what best fits your needsl! The Grand Cascades Lodge is a hotel-condo; you own a unit that could be part of the rental pool. (My vacation home series will eventually highlight the local hotel-type real estate in Sussex County NJ.)
As for more traditional choices for homes for sale in Crystal Springs - Hardyston, NJ - the sky is the limit. We can focus on small condos, modest townhouses, luxury townhomes, quaint ranches or palatial Colonials. Some of these adjoin or overlook may of the Crystal Springs golf courses. Right next to its Ballyowen Golf Course is an active adult community, Ballyowen Bluffs.
To start our hunt for your residence or vacation home in Sussex County NJ, here are some larger 3 bedroom townhouses and condos. Some are Crystal Springs homes for sale; others are quite close.

Beautiful place that is Irene. And a great job you are doing! Looks like a wonderful vacation spot, and if you like to golf, you are all set!
Another great community post Irene. I love posts about golf courses - I am sure there are a ton of lookers for those!
Andrea and Kristin,
Are you gals stalking my blog? No sooner do I post and get ready to call it a night, when I have 2 friends pop in!
Neither Chip nor I are golfers but we do live right next to one of the Crystal Springs golf courses. The setting is so lovely. See you both soon.
Well count me in as your 3rd stalker! This is a great community hyper post! I like the way you link back to other posts.....I need to do the same.
You two need to start golfing......and then come to Phoenix and enjoy golfing with us!!
Irene, Crystal Springs and all of the communities you write about in Sussex County NJ sound wonderful. So do the golf courses, quite a selection you have to choose from.
Anna,
Had a corporate job where a "requirement" was that I learned to play golf - at company expense. So I did. Just didn't like it much and retired when the company went broke. (No surprise, given they paid for all executives to play for my golf...)
But Chip and I still will visit...
Carole,
Golfers view Sussex County as paradise. The types of courses are so varied they never get bored. Ballyowen is one of the most popular because it is a "links or Scottish" course. No trees, looks like a moor!
Are you a golfer?
I'm glad to hear the the Crystal Springs Golf Courses don't require a membership. Now all I have to do is work out the distance issues and the fact that I don't golf!
Sharon,
We can lounge poolside and watch all the golfers work up a sweat!
Caught my eye....love golf course communities and developments. Looks like rolling hills which is much different than the Florida courses. Looks like you have a good handle on Sussex County NJ real estate. Good luck.
That is where I would be sitting poolside ..and enjoying a some laps in the pool..wonderful presentation!
HELPFULHANNAH
Irene, well my husband would love this place since he loves to golf.
Gary,
No doubt nestled in the mountains, our golf courses offer different hazards. In Sussex, we don't have gators in our water traps. Just watch for bears when hunting balls in the woods!
Rebecca and Hannah,
My vote is that the 3 of us lounge poolside with umbrella drinks while Rebecca's hubby golfs. Naturally we'll discuss real estate, making the event a documented business expense for all!
Oops! I forgot Sharon Tara will be joining us too...
